SKELEX 360 “Happy Milker” wins the RMV Innovation Award 2025
We’re thrilled to share that SKELEX 360 “Happy Milker” has been named the overall winner of the RMV Innovation Award 2025, announced during the Dairy & Mechanization Trade Fair (RMV).
What makes this recognition especially meaningful is the level of competition: SKELEX stood alongside two other nominated international milking machine manufacturers—BouMatic and DeLaval—and still took home the top award.
A moment we won’t forget
The award was presented by Lucas van ’t Hof, Head of Cluster Agri & Horti, in front of a packed audience representing a major part of the Dutch dairy farming sector. Edwin Kolsteeg, Agri Director at SKELEX, accepted the award on behalf of the team.
“How proud can you be? What an incredible recognition with this public award for our innovative product, which truly can be called a game changer for both the national and international dairy sector.”
Why “Happy Milker” matters for dairy farmers
Milking is repetitive, physical work—often done multiple times per day—and for many farms it still involves hands-on routines that require sustained arm and shoulder effort. The SKELEX 360 was created specifically for dairy farmers who do not work with a milking robot, offering practical shoulder and arm support where it’s needed most.
Even better: this isn’t an “idea on paper.” The exoskeleton is already being used successfully by farmers and employees who face daily physical strain while milking cows and goats.
Recognition built on real-world impact
Innovation awards are exciting—but what Skelex cares about most is what this means on the ground:
- Less daily physical strain during milking routines
- More sustainable work over long shifts and busy seasons
- A solution that supports people doing essential, hands-on farm work
RMV’s recognition reinforces what farmers and teams have been experiencing firsthand: support that makes demanding work feel more manageable—day after day.
